The waterMONITOR combines PSI’s own highly accurate pressure sensor assembly with a power conservative microcomputer circuit featuring a networkable RS-485 interface using SDI-12 protocol. An internal battery provides years of datalogging using linear, linear averaging, event triggered, and logarithmic sampling modes. The battery is easily field-replaceable via an innovative quick-disconnect cable assembly.
Intuitive applications programs called K-ware Desktop for use with Windows-based notebook computers and K-ware Mobile for use with Windows Mobile-based PDA’s are supplied to operate the waterMONITOR. A more sophisticated software program called K-ware is also included to enable advanced playback and barometric compensation functions and facilitate wireless communication with units in the field. All application software and the latest version of waterMONITOR firmware are posted on Pressure Systems’ website and available at no charge.
The waterMONITOR is CE compliant to EN 61326-1:2003 and EN 61326-1:2001, and has an IP 68 and NEMA 6P housing protection rating.
